Vega ISD is a small rural district in Oldham County, Texas, serving pre-kindergarten through grade 12 across three schools: an elementary building, a junior high, and a high school. The district's enrollment is small, sitting at just over three hundred students spread fairly evenly across grades.

The district's test results show strength in the middle grades, particularly grades six through eight in both English language arts and mathematics.
