Mingus Union High School is the sole comprehensive public high school in the Mingus Union High School District, serving Cottonwood and the surrounding Verde Valley in central Arizona. Its student population is mixed: roughly half of students identify as white, with a substantial share identifying as Hispanic, and small percentages of Native American, Asian, multiracial, and Black students.
