Reyburn Intermediate is a middle school serving seventh and eighth grades in Clovis, a mid-sized, fast-growing city in eastern Fresno County. The school enrolls a substantial number of students and reflects the demographics of Clovis: it is a diverse community with substantial shares of Hispanic and Asian students, and about half of the enrollment qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch.

In English language arts, the school's proficiency picture is stronger. Across both grades, students in ELA show proficiency rates that reflect a majority approaching or meeting grade-level standards. Seventh-grade performance is somewhat higher than eighth grade, a common pattern as students encounter more complex texts and analytical demands in the upper middle grade. The school's overall ELA proficiency is solid for the middle school level.

The city is in the midst of a development wave, with the Loma Vista urban village on its southeastern edge planned to eventually house many more residents, which will likely bring additional school growth in coming years.
