On the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress, the school's seventh graders performed more strongly in English language arts than in math, with eighth graders showing a similar gap between the two subjects. Science scores for eighth graders, measured by the California Science Test, came in at a comparable level to math. Viewed across all tested subjects and grades together, the school's overall proficiency index places it in the top quartile relative to districts in Riverside County, which is a meaningful position in a county with nearly five dozen districts.
