STEM Partnership School closed permanently in May 2022. The school no longer operates and cannot serve as an enrollment option.

The school had operated as a multi-district magnet program serving students in grades three through eight from East Aurora, West Aurora, Indian Prairie, and Oswego/Batavia school districts. The program was lottery-based and housed in a building now repurposed as John C. Dunham Hall at Aurora University.

The most recent academic data available is from early 2021, the final year of operation. That data shows uneven proficiency across grades and subjects. In English language arts, third graders achieved modest proficiency, while fourth, fifth, and sixth graders performed below that level; seventh graders improved markedly, and eighth graders landed in the middle range. Mathematics proficiency across third through sixth grades was mixed, with an especially low result in fourth and sixth grades; seventh and eighth graders both performed at stronger levels. Science data for grades five and eight was suppressed for small sample sizes, though scale scores were reported.

Test participation rates were limited, ranging from about one-fifth to about two-fifths of students at each grade level. This pattern reflects the school's small enrollment and the nature of the data collection in the 2021 school year.

Families seeking a STEM-focused program or magnet school option in the Aurora area will need to explore other schools within their respective home districts or neighboring communities, as this unique offering is no longer available.
