Myers Park Traditional Elementary is a regular public elementary school serving about 670 students across kindergarten through fifth grade in Charlotte, a fast-growing major city anchored by a dense Uptown core and surrounded by distinctive residential neighborhoods. The school sits in a neighborhood of rising housing values within Mecklenburg County, where recent population and development growth have strained school infrastructure and housing supply.
The school's academic performance in tested grades (three through five) shows strength in mathematics and science. More than four in five students score at proficiency levels in math, and a slightly higher share meet proficiency in science. English language arts proficiency runs lower, with roughly three in four students scoring at proficiency.
