Scotia-Glenville Middle School sits in a small upstate village on the Mohawk River, serving about a quarter of the district's overall student body. Like the broader district, the school faces enrollment decline that has prompted significant structural changes at the elementary level, and families should be aware of ongoing budget pressures that have affected staffing.

The school's enrollment skews toward a stable majority-white student population, with a modest share of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch.
