United Preparatory Academy is a kindergarten through eighth-grade charter school in central Columbus, serving a school community of about 850 students. The school operates as the K-8 pathway of what was recently consolidated from a network of separate schools into a unified district structure, with elementary and middle grades now sitting on clearly connected campuses under one governance.
The student body is predominantly Black, with a substantial Hispanic enrollment and smaller shares of white and multiracial students.
