Revere High School sits on a campus in Bath Township, technically outside the village of Richfield itself, and serves grades eight through twelve for the Revere Local district. The enrollment is mid-sized, with a majority of ninth through twelfth graders and a tiny eighth-grade cohort. The student body is predominantly white, with smaller populations of Asian, multiracial, Hispanic, and Black students. About one in ten students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, a lower rate than many districts.
On state assessments administered in 2024-25, proficiency rates were strong across all tested subjects. Social studies proficiency was highest, followed closely by English language arts and science, with mathematics proficiency somewhat lower but still well above half. These are single-year snapshots rather than trends, so a parent may want to ask the school about year-to-year movement and how recent cohorts have performed.
The high school is new. The Revere Local district completed a major capital project called Issue 45, which opened a newly built Revere High School in 2020. The facility includes collaborative learning spaces designed beyond traditional classrooms, a STEM classroom and maker space, a new gymnasium and weight room, a renovated cafeteria and auditorium, and athletic fields. The district also built a new Bath Elementary serving grades three through five with flexible, movable-wall learning environments, and renamed and renovated the former Hillcrest as Richfield Elementary for pre-K through second grade. This reconfiguration means every elementary student in the district now attends two buildings rather than one K-5 neighborhood school. The capital work is complete and paid for by the existing bond, so families are not facing a near-term levy request tied to facilities.

Richfield itself is a small, affluent residential village in northwestern Summit County, situated between Akron and Cleveland. Median household income in the area is above state averages. Home values are moderate to upper-middle for the county, and the housing market has been appreciating. The village has a small historic downtown core at Broadview Road and Streetsboro Road, though daily life is largely car-dependent along I-77, Interstate 271, the Ohio Turnpike, and state routes. Parks include village-run Richfield Woods and a presence of Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the eastern edge. The area is in a slow-growth phase, with new residential subdivisions and the recent opening of a microbrewery in the village core as anchors of ongoing development.
