Vale Middle School is a regular public school serving seventh and eighth graders in the small agricultural town of Vale, Oregon. It is part of Vale School District 84, which covers grades K-12 and is embedded within the town’s compact, roughly one-square-mile footprint. Because the school serves only the two middle-school grades, there is no graduation rate data, as that measure applies only to high schools.
The student enrollment is small. A substantial share of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Racially, the student body is predominantly white, with a Hispanic population making up a meaningful minority and very small numbers of students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native or as two or more races.
