SST Spring is a charter school serving pre-K through eighth grade in northern Harris County, part of the School of Science and Technology network. The school sits in Spring, an unincorporated suburban community north of Houston anchored by the master-planned City Place development and older residential neighborhoods, and draws families from a broad geographic area thanks to its open-enrollment model.

The enrollment is small, about eight hundred students across nine grade levels. A substantial majority of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, reflecting the demographic diversity of the area. The student body is roughly split between Hispanic and Black students, with a smaller share of white students and students of other backgrounds. State test results show a mixed picture. Students generally perform stronger in English language arts than in math.
