Blattman Elementary is a small, neighborhood school in the North Loop area of San Antonio serving prekindergarten through fifth grade. It is part of Northside ISD, a public district serving the city's north side.

The school sits in a growing suburban context. San Antonio itself is experiencing rapid expansion, with major residential development in areas like Stone Oak and newer subdivisions pushing the city's footprint northward. The Loop 1604 corridor, where Blattman is located, reflects this growth. Housing in the school's zip code runs in the mid-to-upper range for the metro area, with median values well above the state benchmark. Rents are moderate. The area is car-dependent; walkability is limited outside downtown.
