Armstrong Middle closed effective the 2025-26 school year as part of a district consolidation in response to a sustained enrollment decline. State test data available is from the 2024-25 school year, the final year of operation, and reflects that closure context.

In its last year, Armstrong's students showed uneven performance across Texas STAAR assessments.
