Sabinal Secondary is now closed. The school served grades seven and eight in the small Hill Country town of Sabinal, Texas, in Uvalde County.

The most recent test results available are from spring 2023, the last year before the school closed. Performance was uneven across subjects and grades. Eighth graders posted middling proficiency in English language arts and math, with about half reaching proficiency in each. Seventh graders performed lower, with proficiency below a third in both subjects. Science and social studies proficiency in eighth grade were notably weak, with very few students reaching the proficiency threshold in either subject.
