La Grange Elementary is a small public elementary school in rural western Lenoir County, serving pre-kindergarten through fifth grade in a setting where the school sits at the center of a compact historic town. The school enrolls a student body that is almost entirely economically disadvantaged: nearly all students qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
