Whittier Primary School serves kindergarten through second grade in Findlay, a county-seat city in Northwest Ohio that is experiencing rapid growth. The school enrolls a moderate-sized group of young learners, with roughly even distribution across the three grade levels it serves. About half the student body qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch, reflecting a mixed-income enrollment typical of urban elementary schools.
The student composition is predominantly white, with a substantial Hispanic enrollment and smaller shares of Asian, Black, and multiracial students. A small number of American Indian students also attend. Data on English learners and special education enrollment were not available; a parent interested in these populations would benefit from contacting the school directly.
On state assessment results available for Whittier, the picture is mixed. In mathematics for third grade, the school's most recent reported result showed full proficiency.
